Graff Ranch has been owned by the Graff family for over 50 years.  The parents of the current owners operated a registered and commercial Hereford ranch for many years that was sold in 1980.  Time at college convinced the two brothers, Brian and Darin, that cattle ranching was their future and they returned to the land and purchased a small group of 40 bred registered Black Angus heifers.  From there, they built their herd carefully, formed a business partnership, finally incorporating the business in January 2004.  Both now work full time at the ranch with 2 part time employees. They grow their own hay with extensive planting of native eastern gama grass.  The ranch holds membership in the American Angus Assn and Kansas Livestock Assn.   As a side business during the first week of white tail deer rifle season, the ranch operates "Rocky Hollow Outfitters" providing one group of hunters with a 5 or 7 day guided deer hunt including room and board.
